I know this sucks the fun out of it, and I'm fine with you ignoring this suggestion, but if you do future TIMHs after that marathon session do you think you could provide informal references/footnotes/Bibliography/whatever? I should note that I mean putting them in the post, not breaking the flow of the video (although it is an amusing image in my mind of a TIMH with the fun and cartoons interrupted by a monotone voice reading a footnote every minute or two)

It goes against the fun, casual vibe (emphasized by the trademark illustrations) but I realized that the "some people say" stuff is really History Channel for me (although getting a stuffed shelf full of possibly related books as a backdrop is still something I'm totally cool with).

Not that you don't have enough other stuff to do at the moment or anything.

I'll take it into consideration, Nathaniel. Right now I'm a little busy to footnote everything (I'm mostly taking it from my head), but if I ever do any more after this run I can make some changes in how it's done. It's really not meant to be serious scholarship, just a silly avenue to put some of my animation out there.
